Breakfast hours are too restrictive!!! Closed restaurant recommendations led to unnecessary walking!!! More evening entertainment options would really enhance the stay, given the tranquil evenings without activities!!!

We stayed for four nights in a beautifully decorated Superior King Room. Kim and Trevor are wonderful hosts who made our stay feel special with homemade scones upon arrival and a delicious breakfast featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The honesty bar and relaxed ambiance made it easy to unwind after a day of sightseeing. The only downside was that we had to leave at the end of our stay!

What a lovely spot for a getaway! I enjoyed unwinding by the garden fountain and soaking up the sun on the terrace. The only thing I'd suggest is adding a charging station for electric cars, but it didn’t spoil my experience at all! 🌞

I adored the lovely decor throughout Elmdene, especially the thoughtful design in the common areas, which felt very welcoming and accessible for seniors. The cozy seating areas made it easy for us to relax and...

My room was in pristine condition, with fresh bedding and modern amenities. I even appreciated the mini fridge and the fresh milk for my tea. Breakfast was a treat! The full English breakfast was delicious, and they used locally sourced ingredients. I also enjoyed the honesty bar in the lounge. it felt relaxed and inviting. I found the limited parking a bit challenging. it could use some improvement. I also wished there were more evening meal options available since I like to dine in when I travel. Despite these minor inconveniences, my stay was really enjoyable. This place is perfect for anyone looking for a restful getaway.

Fabulous stay!

My husband and I had the best time here! Kim and Trevor are the sweetest hosts, and the place was so clean. Breakfast was delish, especially the poached eggs! The bar/lounge area was a nice touch, too. Only thing is, our room was a bit small for all our stuff but not a dealbreaker.
